Who is DK?

I’m all over the place; I’m eating out, traveling a lot, Twittering, talking to folks, snapping shots of different things, honking my car horn, and making suggestions for people who pay me to do it. There’s Hawaii, Colorado, New York City, Boston, and Germany in my forwarding address order. My Type A self is sometimes hard to take for some, especially in mostly-Asian cultures, like in Hawaii. It’s in Hawaii where most of my work is based and my kinda work is a world where I organize (in most cases, reorganize) a business. My current gig is all about reorganizing a place — always an interesting challenge, so every day is never everyday. But enjoy it, I do!
Momus is my outlet. With the daily grind usually leaving me with little release of anything non-work, seeing things through Momus’s eyes, err mouth, gives me that small — albeit digital — space on earth where I take command and spew randomness. Momus isn’t a frame of mind, a lens through which I see, or a mouthpiece through which I speak. Momus isn’t an aspiration nor a level of permission I seek. Momus is a reminder that the world should be driven by folks who speak their mind.
Oh, and yeah, I’m an American 30-something who’s ethnically half-Japanese, half-Portuguese with extensive, yet not cohesive religious beliefs. Yet, I manage!
